New Year “Resolution” Faux-Ligraphy Workshop

This workshop is a relaxed, creative evening focused on turning simple letterforms into something personal and celebratory. We’ll use faux-ligraphy, a lettering approach that builds style through structure rather than handwriting skill.

No prior experience is needed, and no “good handwriting” is required.

Participants will choose a word, phrase, or New Year intention and learn how to form balanced letters, identify downstrokes, and add weight to create the look of brush lettering in a calm, forgiving way. Guided practice includes visual references, spacing guides, and step-by-step handouts so everyone feels supported as they work. Guests will then letter their chosen resolution directly onto a glass champagne bottle using paint pens.

The bottle becomes both a keepsake and a celebration marker — something to take home, keep visible, and POP open later when that goal is reached.

The class is paced to allow time for conversation, refills, and enjoyment of the space.

All materials (including a full 750mL bottle of bubbly) are included.

Each participant will take home their paint pen, printed guides, and reference sheets so they can continue refining their bottle or start another at home, if they wish.
