You’ve heard me say it before, “Bubbly makes everything better!” and when it comes to your Thanksgiving menu, it’s most definitely true.

Whether you’re Canadian and celebrating in October or American and celebrating in November, you will want to check out this bubbly Thanksgiving menu.

But before we get started with these amazing bubbly Thanksgiving dishes, let’s talk about hosting Thanksgiving.  Hosting is no easy task so I turned to the expert when it comes to hosting.

Joyful Hostess

We know our holiday celebrations might look a little bit different this year, but that doesn’t mean we have to totally eliminate them.  While they might be smaller gatherings we can make them just as special.

Let me introduce you to Mara from Joyful Hostess. No matter how big or small your Thanksgiving celebration will be, she has some easy to implement ideas just for you.   With so many tricks and tips she makes it so that you are able to enjoy your day as much as your guests.  You probably want to be giving her a follow over on Instagram too!

Bubbly Hostess Thanksgiving Guide with tips to host AND enjoy Thanksgiving and the completely bubbly Thanksgiving menu.

Together, we created the Ultimate Bubbly Thanksgiving Guide to make your Thanksgiving day go so smoothly that you’re practically sitting back and simply enjoying your bubbly.

The guide begins with 10 Tips to Make Hosting Easier.  Now let me be honest here, I have never hosted a Thanksgiving solo and just had a run through of Thanksgiving and didn’t think of some of these tips on this list.  Our evening was great (and quite tasty) but these tips sure would have come in handy.

You’ve heard me say it a million times, there is no such thing as the perfect celebration, so embrace the present moment and just celebrate!  And Mara would 100% agree with that.  There is no need to put the pressure on yourself to make everything absolutely perfect because something is bound to go wrong and you don’t want to that to ruin your day.  So, embrace the moment, be thankful for everything and everyone you’re surrounded by and CHEERS!

Bubbly Thanksgiving Menu

Yes, let me just answer this right now.  Every single menu item we created for the Thanksgiving menu has bubbly in it in some way!  It’s truly is a bubbly day!

Thanksgiving menu, bubbly style of course

Now here’s the interesting part of this menu, we didn’t think of it at Bubbly Side of Life.  This was a request from one of you, our followers!  We love when you give us suggestions like these, so keep them coming, and we hope you enjoy what we created.

Let me give you a run down on the this very bubbly menu.

Butternut squash soup with a bubbly cashew cream topping-I love soup in the fall and winter and this did not disappoint.  In fact, I may just adopt this cashew cream topping to put on all of my soups for the rest of the year.

Turkey-Did you know that turkey was not at the first Thanksgiving?  With Americans making approximately 46 million turkeys, it has certainly become a traditional part of the Thanksgiving menu.  And our turkey is sitting in 2 cups of bubbly!

Stuffing-this recipe is probably my most favorite part of the Thanksgiving menu.  It’s my mom’s recipe and when I was a kid, I refused to eat turkey, so talk about carb loading, I had a plate full of stuffing.

Cranberries this recipe comes from my brother-in-law and I can honestly say that I never ate cranberries before this dish.  Oh my gosh it’s so good!  Even my two nephews tried them and liked them.

Sweet Potatoes-a classic sweet potato casserole recipe with a bubbly twist!

Apple Pie-this apple pie recipe is the BEST you will ever have.  Trust me.  It’s my sister’s apple pie and it was always amazing, in fact, people loved them so much they paid her to make the apple pie for their holiday celebrations.  With the addition of bubbly, I have to say, it only just got better!

A very bubbly dessert spread

Pumpkin Pie Dip-now this is new for us, but what a simple alternative to pumpkin pie.  It took under 5 minutes to make and then it sat in the fridge to set.  And with the endless dipping possibilities, this is bound to be a hit!

We decided to create a new Thanksgiving menu item by taking the pumpkin pie dip and turning it into “pumpkin pie.”

We took our leftover pumpkin pie dip and froze it. And it froze perfectly and then created the easiest pie crust to create a “pumpkin pie.” And since I personally don’t like pie crust, I was very pleased how this turned out.

  • 20 Biscoff Cookies
  • 2 TB Butter
  • 2oz Bubbly

  1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Put all of these ingredients into a food processor, turn it on high until everything is combined.
  3. Put into a pie crust or muffin tins.
  4. Bake for 10 minutes.
  5. Let cool completely, then add the pumpkin dip on top.
  6. Let sit for 1 hour or as long as overnight.

Bubbly Fall Sangria-oh my gosh, I am pretty sure this is the best sangria ever!  It literally tastes like fall in a glass.  It’s the perfect cold weather month sangria, made with cava, of course!

The best bubbly sangria for fall!

So, here’s a fun fact…also not surprising:  most Americans prefer the leftovers as opposed to the actual meal, and the good news if you’re in that category is that these Thanksgiving side dishes do get better as they sit.

Now, you need to download this Ultimate Bubbly Thanksgiving Guide if for no other reason than to get your hands on that apple pie recipe and the sangria!  You can download it right here!

Now you may see on our table we had a variety of beverages from sparkling juice to wine to sangria to sparkling wine.

And yes, that is a magnum of cava from Provocativo bubbles. Honestly, if you ever want to buy a magnum, the holiday is the perfect time to do so since you have more people around the table.

Now, if you’re not looking for a magnum and just want a variety of bubbly, check out our grocery store recommendations of easy to stock up on bubbly or our winery reviews. So many wineries offer great shipping deals that you can stock up on some new bubbly that maybe no one has experienced before.

Many Thanks

Now since this is our Thanksgiving post, I would be remiss if I didn’t Thank YOU for all of your support.  You see, I was waiting until I had the actual tasting room to create this version of Bubbly Side of Life.  After much encouragement from 3 different people about 1 year ago, Bubbly Side of Life took on the life it has today.

Thanks to those 3 ladies for the push and many, many thanks to YOU for being a part of the Bubbly Side!   Without your encouragement and your virtual “cheers” the Bubbly Side of Life wouldn’t exist. Sharing bubbly with you virtually in all of its forms is truly something I love.

And with celebrations as the pillar of Bubbly Side of Life,  I can’t wait to clink glasses with you in person one of these days…hopefully sooner than later!

Truly, THANK YOU!
