Strawberry Drink Recipe Tips
Here are a few of our favorite tricks to keep these drink chilled while not watering them down:
- Use frozen strawberries as ice cubes
- In muddled drinks, use frozen strawberries, thawed just slightly enough (about 10 seconds) to muddle them
- Create a strawberry purée using frozen strawberries…in fact you’ll see we do that in a few recipes
- Put a strawberry in an ice cube tray and fill with sparkling wine for your cocktails and sprite or sparkling water for your mocktails

We always use frozen strawberries in our strawberry drink recipes no matter what time of year it is so that we always have them on hand for any last minute, impromptu gatherings. And, of course, when they’re in season, we simply freeze the fresh ones so we can enjoy that extra bit of sweetness.

Strawberry Mocktails
With the help of my resident bubblyologist, if you haven’t met him yet, here he is. And we have so much fun creating mocktails for you so I encourage you to make these with your kids, nieces/nephews or grandkids. They’ll especially enjoy the taste testing (especially when candy is involved)…you’ll see what I mean if you check this out.
These mocktails are truly delicious on their own and clearly great for everyone who doesn’t want to drink, but you could certainly add your favorite hard liquor to some of these and it would be just as good.
FUN TIP: For some extra fun with your mocktails, you can serve them in sugar rimmed glasses with a strawberry Twizzler straw.

Of course, you don’t need a cocktail shaker or muddler or blender to make any of these drinks. Heck, when I am on the road and want a fun bubbly cocktail, I have used a whisk in place of a muddler before.
