Masía de la Vinya, a beautiful, Spanish inspired winery, sister winery to Danza del Sol, that is a must visit on any trip to Temecula Wine Country.

To say I fell in love with this winery upon walking in from the parking lot would be 100% true.

The views…both inside and out.

The bubbly.

The staff.

You must stop by Masía de la Vinya on your next trip to Temecula Wine Country…I promise, you will not be disappointed.

Inside The Tasting Room

Walking into the tasting room, you can help but feel excited to begin this tasting experience.  When you enter, there is a bar with a tasting area that is very cozy.  If you continue walking, you will find several other areas to sit back, relax and enjoy your tasting.

Tiffany, the tasting room manger, is absolutely amazing!  She is so friendly and welcoming and so easy to chat with.  As we enjoyed a glass of brut, we took a tour of the tasting room, both inside and outside with Tiffany.

As you walk through, you will find fabulous spaces that can be reserved for private parties or meetings and they are absolutely adorable.

Events are also held inside in these areas in the back of the tasting room. In fact, on the day we visited, they were setting up for karaoke.  Definitely a lot of fun to be had here!

Now, I should also mention that, of course, I  am a sucker for a fun shop and they definitely have one of the better little stores inside their tasting room.  I mean, doesn’t this just scream Bubbly Side of Life?

Live every day like it's a celebration

And Wendy (my friend who I am introducing to Temecula Wine Country) did some damage in the jewelry section as well.  So, definitely grab your glass and do some shopping…so many cute, unique gifts.

The Grounds

Sitting on 10 acres of planted grounds, the views are absolutely stunning. 7 varietals of grapes are grown here and while we didn’t take a tour through the vineyard, we absolutely took in the views.

Outside of the tasting room, there are so many areas to enjoy the perfect Temecula weather and enjoy the stunning views all while sipping on some absolutely delicious bubbly.

Our favorite spot was actually outside on the Adirondack chairs enjoying a full glass of Magrana talking about how we need to create an event here so that more people can be exposed to this amazing winery.

Masía de la Vinya outdoor space

There are so many places to enjoy a tasting, a glass or heck a bottle of bubbly here…it really will be hard choosing.  Honestly, the outside feels like an extension of the indoors.

The Bubbly

They have two sparkling wine options, but because we were having so much fun, we actually created some additional sparkling options as well.

Masía de la Vinya-tasting room featuring their brut and magrana

Let me talk first about my absolute new favorite bubbly, the Magrana.  Oh my gosh!  Run, don’t walk and stock up on this!  This pomegranate bubbly is absolutely amazing!  It is the perfect combination of sweet and tart.  Needless to say, several of these bottles came home with me.

I promise, even if you do not love pomegranate, you must try this.  I was so excited about this that I chilled a bottle and brought it to my sister’s house.  She, of course, said, “I don’t like pomegranate.”  One sip….her mind was completely changed.  She helped me finish off the entire bottle.

Yes, it’s that good.  And you know I normally say don’t save your bottles for special occasions because there’s a reason to celebrate every single day, well I can’t help but save these so I can introduce more people to the deliciousness of it.

Their other bubbly is a brut, also delicious and the bubbly we used to create some other sparkling concoctions.  If you know me, you know I love a good toasty finish on my white wines, and this bubbly reminded me of that.  A great bottle to stock up on, for sure.

In creating new combinations of bubbly beverages (which you know I love) we added a bit of the brut to Antiguo and a bit of brut to Verano.  Oh my gosh, this would be a delicious dessert option any time!  It’s so good I’m already planning on that being the dessert for the holidays.

Bubbly Taps

In addition to wine and bubbly tasting, they have two rotating taps.  Now, sadly it’s not bubbly on tap, but while we were there it was a hard seltzer on tap….which technically has bubbles.  And there was also an IPA, but this girl is not a beer drinker at all…nope, not even to taste.

But I did taste the Craft Brewing Company Passion Fruit Lime hard seltzer and because it was so quite tasty, we decided to visit them in Old Town Temecula to try other flavors.  It was a fun and different experience that we absolutely enjoyed.

Masía de la Vinya Report Card

With a grade of an A, you MUST go and visit, right?  Yes, you must!

This was my first visit to Masía de la Vinya, but immediately moved to one of my most favorite winery experiences that will now be included when I bring anyone to Temecula Wine Country with me.

COVID 19 Note:

We visited Masía de la Vinya right before they had to shut down due to the pandemic.  Since all wineries had to shut down, we also chose to pause the release of any winery reviews/report cards.

I am happy to say that they are open again, but you will want to check their website for new guidelines and procedures.
