You know how much we love a celebration, so we, of course, are celebrating National Hydration day with some of our favorite mocktails.
June 23rd is National Hydration Day and if you’ve been around here a while, you know we love mocktails and we love Liquid I.V., so of course, we combined the two to create some delicious hydration drinks to celebrate the occasion.
Why Liquid I.V.?
I personally drink a lot of water all day long…I love water almost as much as I love bubbly. But there are days when I just am not drinking a lot for whatever reason and then it’s Liquid I.V. to the rescue. And you know, before we do any bubbly tasting at all, Liquid I.V. is mandatory!
I also drink a Liquid I.V. everyday not only for the hydration benefits, but also for the extra vitamins. I am the worst at remembering to take vitamins, so getting them in this packet just makes life so much easier.
Last year when I discovered Liquid I.V., you all asked me to compare it to the other popular hydration packets on the market. I did and you can check out the full blog post, but let me quick recap for your why I ultimately decided on Liquid I.V.
It came down to the final two: Liquid I.V. and Drip Drop. Taste wise, there wasn’t much difference, although, I personally thought Drip Drop was sweeter. So, since I knew I would be consuming one every single day, I looked at the nutrition label.
Liquid I.V. vs Drip Drop
It’s important that when you’re comparing the nutrition labels of these two products that you are comparing the Liquid I.V. to the 16 oz Drip Drop packet since you will be putting your Liquid I.V. into 16 oz of water.
And here are the findings: Liquid IV has less calories, sugar, and carbs than Drip Drop. Liquid IV also has other vitamins like Vitamin C, Vitamin B6 and Vitamin B12 which if you’re anything like me, I need all the help I can get with getting these vitamins.
I personally don’t count calories, but I knew I would be drinking at least one of these daily so I really wanted to make sure I was picking the healthiest choice for me.
Hydration Drinks
We have been creating mocktails for over a year and they have been super popular. In honor of National Hydration Day, we decided to create 6 hydration drinks to celebrate the occasion.
Yes, we have tried every flavor and have created a mocktail for every flavor they currently have in stock. What’s even better about our hydration drinks, is if you don’t love a flavor, try making the mocktail recipe that goes along with it and see if you like it better.
For example, when we were testing these out, one of my friends told me that strawberry was just too sweet for her and she had a whole package. I sent her our recipe and she loves it and even continues to order it.
And I for one don’t like passion fruit flavor, but when it’s put into this hydration drink, it’s delicious! So, the bottom line, is don’t be afraid to order up new flavors because we have the perfect solution for you if you don’t love it.
And one of these hydration drinks is on repeat in our kitchen! And that is the Summer Spritz. It truly is the perfect summer drink
